The Neasden Temple (Shri Swaminarayan Mandir) in Brent borough is named after the temple in Tividale (West Midlands) is the largest Hindu temple outside India. It was built in the 1990s by a Hindu sect, the Swaminarayan mission from Ahmedabad (India). The domes and towers are made of Carrara marble and Bulgarian limestone, are inside the altars with flowers of Hindu deities (murtis) equipped. Each of the 26 300 worked stone has a different motive.
