Snow is rare, at most a few centimeters per year. Events such as the snow disaster in 1978 are a rarity. In early February 2009 it was the worst snow chaos for 18 years, as more than 15 centimeters of new snow fell. Are not uncommon, however weather inversion. One of them led to a great 1952 smog disaster.
