This once Roman town of Londinium, was established easily after the Roman conquest of Britannia in the year forty three, and it was formed in the present London Bridge area. The world well renowned Big Ben clock tower is where the centre of London is, you're likely to get a grin when you mention it to Londoners.

London has hundreds of choices for places to stay to match all allowances from hostels through to historic bed and breakfasts (B&Bs), and mainstream hotel chains and luxury inns to suit all budgets. And then there is the most exclusive organisations in the globe like the Savoy, The Ritz and Claridges where a stay in a peak suite will cost up of 1000 per night.

Traditional precautions should be taken for the protected holding of your individual possessions, as you would do in any other city. The best approach out is to a distinctive bar in the new "friendlier" Soho and then making your "favourite drinking place". The Tube is a clear-cut favourite method of transport for tourists to London. Keep plenty of coins with you as you may need them for different purposes, while the bigger machines furthermore take credit/debit cards.

The Grand Union canal connects Paddington to Camden and the Regent's Canal connects Camden to Islington, Mile End and Limehouse in East London. Now that would be an unusual way to spend a day in London, far from the beaten path with a day out on a barge canal !

St. James's Park is located between Buckingham Palace on the west and Horse Guards Parade on the east. Typically there are guided ghost tours of certain buildings in this area or you could do what everyone does and just go to the Theatre and see a melodious play or a comical presentation in the West End.
